2006 Hotel Information

Hilton Pittsburgh

The Hilton Pittsburgh is the city's largest, most recognized hotel conveniently located Downtown at Gateway Center, facing Point State Park and Pittsburgh's famed three rivers, six blocks from the Convention Center, and across the river from Heinz Field and PNC Park.

The Hilton Pittsburgh is the Conference Hotel for 2006. The Association has reserved a room block at a discounted rate, not otherwise available. Beginning in the Spring of 2006, it will be possible to register for the Conference and also book a hotel room. Only conference registrants may book a room with GSA at the GSA rate. This site will have all information and all the forms for online registration and online hotel reservations.

The Hilton is currently the first stop on the airport shuttle when entering the city and the last stop on the hotel route before leaving the city for the airport.

It is only possible to book with the GSA rate through this web site, and that is only possible for conference registrants. The GSA rate is $115 single and $125 double room. The Hilton will not accept booking at the GSA rate either online on the Hilton web site, or at the Hilton toll-free number, or directly with the hotel. Reservations at the GSA rate can only be requested here.

IMPORTANT: Technically,  you make a reservation "request" at this site, and the Hilton lifts the request directly from the site and makes the reservation for you. Therefore, GSA cannot confirm reservations (only the hotel can, because it actually makes them), and only the hotel can change them, such as dates, beds, or even cancel them. GSA cannot.
