The GSA was recently approached by an organization in Australia supposedly offering its services in conjunction with hotel reservations for our conference in Oakland.  We have been advised that this is a scam, and that the organization in question is in the business of undercutting contracted room rates and fleecing individual attendees with fraudulent promises of cash rebates on hotel rooms.  PLEASE DO NOT RESPOND IN ANY WAY TO THIS ORGANIZATION SHOULD YOU BE CONTACTED BY IT.  Rest assured, too, that the GSA will never rent or sell its membership or conference attendee list to anyone, for any reason. 

 As noted elsewhere on the GSA website,  conference registration and hotel reservations will open in early April.
