GSA Announces New GSR Editor

The German Studies Association is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Tanvi Solanki as the fifth Editor of German Studies Review, the Association's flagship interdisciplinary journal. Dr. Solanki will succeed Dr. Katharina Gerstenberger, whose distinguished tenure as editor concluded on May 31, 2026.

CfA: Graduate Assistant, German Studies Review (GSR)

The German Studies Review seeks a graduate assistant for the two Book Review Editors (literature and culture; history and art) with a start date of October 1, 2026.

GSR 49.2 Now Available to Members

German Studies Review 49.2 is now available.

The German Studies Association is the multi- and interdisciplinary association of scholars in German, Austrian, and Swiss history, literature, culture studies, political science, and economics. GSA holds an annual conference and publishes a scholarly journal, the German Studies Review. Members are generally professors and advanced students at universities and colleges in North America, although there are several hundred members in Europe and Asia. Membership is open to anyone. The GSA is a member of the American Council of Learned Societies (ACLS).
